Staff System DVT - Automation Engineer

Role Overview: Join Enphase Energy, a global energy technology company, as a Staff System DVT Automation Engineer in Bangalore. As part of the systems engineering team, you will be responsible for defining, integrating, and testing Enphase's energy solutions. Your role involves overseeing DVT execution, conducting design verification tests, developing automated test scripts, troubleshooting system failures, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and managing test data analysis. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the DVT execution plan and provide technical direction to the DVT Engineers - Conduct Design verification test (DVT) for Ensemble grid agnostic system design - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for software and hardware systems DVT - Develop automation scripts using Python to control lab instruments - Troubleshoot system failures during DVT and analyze root cause - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and design effective test strategies - Manage database for test results, test data analysis either manually or using python-based scripts - Responsible for documentation of test plan and test reports Qualifications Required: - BE/BTech or ME/MTech in Electrical/Electronic engineering with 9+ years of experience in Power Electronics or power system design verification test and Automation - Hands-on experience with electrical and electronics systems - Good understanding of basic electrical engineering concepts, including circuit theory and Electrical system - Hands-on experience in Python based automation framework including lab instruments Drivers - Experience on TCP/IP, Serial (RS485, USB) and CAN communication protocol scripts - Good communication, analytical, decision-making, and leadership skills - Ability to work effectively within a team - Desire and passion to change the world - Understanding of energy storage, microgrid, and renewable energy systems - Experience in Inverter, UPS, Power Electronic circuits design and troubleshooting - Hands-on Experience in handling lab electronic equipment - Knowledge in Lithium Ion based Energy storage systems, Battery management system - Experience in grid-tied inverter validation and advanced grid profile functions - Electrical system automation using Python scripts,
