Key Responsibilities: - Own and drive key project deliverables by collaborating with full-time employees and vendors across different teams and geographies. - Develop, build, and deploy applications using platforms and technologies such as Java/BigQuery, while working closely with analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Design, develop, and manage data transformation pipelines to create financial data products from various sources using the BigQuery technology stack. - Maintain high development standards, including technical design, solution development, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue resolution, and writing clean, modular, and self-sustaining code. - Architect innovative solutions to automate and scale business systems, providing direction for architecture, design, build, and support activities for enterprise software platforms with a focus on excellence, performance, and security. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 8 years of experience in software development. - 5 years of experience testing and launching software products. - 3 years of experience with software design and architecture. - Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field preferred. - 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms. - 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction. - 3 years of experience working in a matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects. - Experience with data storage, data governance, and data modeling. - Experience with finance systems or large data processing.
