Job Title:Staff Platform Engineer - Infra Automation
Location: Manyata Tech Park, Bangalore
Business & Team: CTO

Impact &contribution:As an Ansible Automation Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and supporting the operational components of the Ansible Automation Platform. This includes vulnerability investigation and remediation, troubleshooting, application lifecycle management, monitoring, tenant support, and providing guidance. You will also collaborate with other teams to enhance their automation solutions and delivery.

Roles & responsibilities:

• Design and implement reusable automation solutions aligned with modern software practices.

• Promote process efficiency by identifying opportunities for automation and driving improvements.

• Initiate and develop new tools or automation workflows to streamline operations.

• Maintain and support the operational aspects of the Ansible Automation Platform, including investigating and resolving vulnerabilities.

• Troubleshoot platform-related issues and oversee the full application lifecycle.

• Continuously monitor system performance and provide support and guidance to tenants.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance automation strategies and delivery outcomes.

Essential skills:

• 12-16 years of relevant experience in automation, infrastructure management, and related domains.

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible.

• Hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform, including its operational components.

• Knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and general infrastructure concepts.

• Solid understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.

• Good to have public cloud environments, particularly AWS.

• Desired Scripting Languages: Bash or Python

Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology.
