Job Title: Staff Platform Engineer

Location: Manyata Tech Park , Bangalore

Impact & contribution:

As part of the Deposit & Transactions Crew, you will be involved in key strategic initiatives that transform the Business user experience, drive continuous improvement and risk buy-down. You will work closely with Squad Tech Leads, Principal Engineers and engineer managers to modernise the workload fleet. Enabling the crew to adopt modern DevSecOps ways of working.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions, often using cloud platforms like AWS
• Automation and CI/CD: Develop and maintain automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines to streamline software development and deployment processes.
• Monitoring and Performance: Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system performance, reliability, and availability. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure that the platform complies with security standards and best practices, implementing necessary security measures and protocols.
• Innovation and Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve platform technologies and processes to enhance efficiency and performance.

Essential Skills:

• Have 10+ years of experience. Have solid hands-on experience with containers technology like Docker and Podman using different tech stacks (Java, NodeJS, .Net) and multiple operational systems (Distroless, Windows, Debian, Alpine)
• Are knowledgeable of AI coding assisting technology: Github CoPilot, Cline, Cursor, Figma AI, etc
• Have experience with the full software development lifecycle and delivery using Agile practices with specific focus on the following concepts: source control, CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure cloud pipelines, logging and monitoring
• Can guide teams on the 12 factors principles adoption, advocating for modern ways of solving old problems
• Well versed into Kubernetes running on AWS EKS and the latest Cloud Native Computing Foundation tools, practices and principles
• Have solid hands- experience with Cloud native development in AWS

Education Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
