Staff Nurse

Role & responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for critically ill patients.
• Monitor and manage complex medical equipment and life support devices.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by doctors.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to plan and evaluate patient care.
• Perform assessments, including vital signs, ECGs, lab results, and other diagnostic tests.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatments.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide advanced life support when necessary.

• Provide immediate care to patients in the emergency room, including trauma and acute care cases.
• Prioritize and assess patients based on severity using triage protocols.
• Perform physical exams, administer medications, and assist with procedures such as intubation, wound care, and IV insertion.
• Maintain patient documentation, including vital signs, assessments, and treatments.
• Collaborate with ER doctors and other healthcare providers to determine treatment plans.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families during crisis situations.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of emergency room supplies and equipment.

• Provide patient care to individuals with a range of conditions in a general ward setting.
• Monitor patient vital signs, report changes, and respond to patient needs.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Assist with daily activities of patients, including mobility, hygiene, and eating.
• Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with doctors and other healthcare professionals.
• Document patient care activities, conditions, and responses.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, post-discharge care, and preventative health measures.
• Coordinate patient discharge planning and follow-up care.
