Job Title: Staff Nurse (Female) Hospital : VSR Hospital Location: Mogapair, Chennai Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team in delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate should possess a valid GNM or B.Sc Nursing qualification and be registered with the State Nursing Council. The Staff Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining accurate medical records. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care as per physician’s instructions and hospital protocols. Monitor and record vital signs, patient symptoms, and medical information accurately. Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and other treatments as prescribed. Assist doctors during patient examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures. Maintain patient hygiene and support with daily living activities. Educate patients and their families on health care needs and post-discharge instructions. Ensure proper documentation and timely updates in patient records. Maintain cleanliness and sterility of nursing equipment and patient areas. Adhere to infection control protocols and hospital policies at all times Eligibility Criteria: Qualification: GNM (General Nursing) or B.Sc Nursing from a recognized institution. Registration : Registered Nurse with the State Nursing Council. Experience: Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome. Requirements: Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays. Compassionate, detail-oriented, and team player.
