Staff Nurse

A staff nurse provides direct patient care, which includes assessing patient needs, administering medications and treatments, and monitoring vital signs. They also develop and implement care plans, collaborate with other healthcare professionals, and educate patients and their families on health management and recovery. Key responsibilities also include accurately documenting patient care and maintaining medical records. Core responsibilities

• Patient care: Assess patient health, administer medications and treatments, monitor vital signs, and provide direct care to those who are ill, injured, or disabled.
• Care planning: Develop and implement patient care plans, working with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective treatment.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including observations, treatments, and patient progress.
• Patient and family education: Inform patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and how to manage illnesses at home.
