Staff Nurse ( Student Nurses due to qualify in 2025 will be considered)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Peri-operative staff nurse to work within the Ophthalmology Theatre at the National Treatment Centre - Highland (NTC). Ophthalmology experience is preferential, but training could be provided if required.
The NTC-H is a new purpose-built centre which provides care for both Ophthalmology and Orthopaedic Patients. The Centre is located at the City's University Campus and has 5 theatres, a 24-bedded ward and dedicated Ophthalmology Outpatient Department.The Ophthalmology Theatre comprises of 3 theatres specialising in cataract, glaucoma, oculoplastic and vitreoretinal surgery. Orthopaedic day case hand and foot procedures are also performed two days per week.The role would involve scrub within the peri-operative environment for patients having Ophthalmology surgery. The Ophthalmology Theatre is a fast-paced environment with a high turnover of patients. We are looking for a nurse to complement the existing team. Visits to the department are welcome.
