Job Description

Direct Patient Care:
This includes assessing patients, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, providing wound care, and assisting with daily living activities.
Patient and Family Education:
Staff nurses educate patients and their families about illnesses, treatments, medications, and preventative care.
Collaboration and Communication:
They communicate with doctors, other nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
Record Keeping:
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records is crucial, including documenting medications administered, treatments performed, and patient progress.
Supervision and Mentorship:
Staff nurses often supervise and mentor junior nurses, providing guidance and support as they develop their skills.
Maintaining a Safe Environment:
Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients and staff, including infection control and proper use of medical equipment.
Assisting with Procedures:
Staff nurses assist doctors with various medical procedures, including injections, catheterizations, and other treatments.
Emergency Response:
