Staff nurse

Job Summary:

The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, assisting in clinical procedures, maintaining patient records, and ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety in patient care areas.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care including administering medications, IVs, and monitoring vitals.
• Assist doctors during rounds, procedures, and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and nursing notes.
• Educate patients and family members on post-discharge care and medication.
• Ensure infection control practices and maintain ward hygiene.
• Manage patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Report any changes in patient condition to the physician promptly.
• Ensure proper handling of medical equipment and supplies.

Qualifications Required:

• GNM / B.Sc. in Nursing from a recognized institution
• Registered Nurse (RN) with the respective State Nursing Council

• Ability to work in shifts and handle stressful situations
