Job Description

As a Staff Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, assist physicians and healthcare professionals, and ensure the overall well-being of patients. This role spans various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and community health centers.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

Deliver direct nursing care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing medical procedures such as wound care and IV therapy.
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) to support comfort and recovery.

Patient Assessment:

Conduct assessments of patients physical and mental health status.
Document medical history and monitor changes in condition or treatment response.
Recognize and promptly report abnormal findings or symptoms to relevant healthcare providers.

Care Planning and Implementation:

Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Ensure care delivery aligns with established protocols, standards, and evidence-based practices.

Patient Education:

Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medication usage, and self-care techniques.
Provide guidance on lifestyle modifications, disease prevention, and health promotion.

Collaboration and Communication:

Coordinate care with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Communicate effectively regarding patient status, treatment updates, and care transitions.
