Staff Nurse - NICU

As a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse, you will be responsible for providing round-the-clock care to premature and severely ill newborn infants. Your duties will include caring for the basic needs of infants such as feeding and changing diapers, performing medical procedures like inserting intravenous lines and administering medications, and assisting NICU physicians in treatments. Additionally, you will need to use and adjust specialized medical equipment, formulate nursing plans, and evaluate treatment effectiveness. Your role will also involve comforting ill newborns, providing emotional support to parents and family members, and educating them on at-home care. Key Responsibilities: - Provide round-the-clock care to premature and severely ill newborn infants - Care for basic needs of infants including feeding and changing diapers - Perform medical procedures like inserting intravenous lines and administering medications - Assist NICU physicians in medical procedures and treatments - Use and adjust specialized medical equipment - Formulate nursing plans and evaluate treatment effectiveness - Comfort ill newborns and provide emotional support to parents and family members - Educate parents and family members on at-home care of newborns Qualifications Required: - Registered nursing license - GNM or B.Sc in nursing - 6 months experience in ICU or NICU - CPR certification - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to offer emotional support to parents, guardians, and family members - Working knowledge of NICU specialized equipment - Ability to work effectively in a team - Ability to provide comfort to ill newborns The company also offers accommodation (Terms & Conditions apply) and is looking for an immediate joiner who can start within 7 days.
