Staff Nurse (NICU)

Role Overview: As a Staff Nurse - NICU, you will be responsible for monitoring and caring for healthy, critical, and sick newborn babies. Your role will involve answering parents" queries, checking baby temperatures regularly, changing diapers, feeding babies, administering medicines as prescribed by doctors, and ensuring the babies" well-being round the clock. Additionally, you will work in the neonatal intensive care unit, coordinate infection control programs, maintain cleanliness, and assist in handling wards when required. Key Responsibilities: - Answer parents" queries and concerns regarding newborn babies - Regularly check baby temperatures - Change diapers and feed babies as needed - Administer medicines following doctors" prescriptions - Provide 24/7 care for the babies - Keep parents updated on the babies" progress - Work in the neonatal intensive care unit, caring for infants in incubators or on ventilators - Coordinate infection control programs and fumigation protocols - Ensure cleanliness of apparatus, equipment, and furniture - Assist Senior Staff Nurse with assigned duties - Handle wards as necessary Qualification Required: - GNM / B. Sc Nursing Additional Details: You will need to have 2-5 years of experience in NICU. Linguistic competence in written and spoken English, as well as proficiency in local languages and Hindi, is essential.
