· Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit according to established standards and procedures.
· Arriving promptly at emergency scenes alongside paramedics to assess the situation.
· Gathering basic patient information, taking vital signs, and assisting with initial patient evaluation.
· Performing CPR, administering oxygen, managing airway issues, and providing basic wound care as directed by paramedics.
· Setting up and maintaining medical equipment, ensuring proper stock levels, and cleaning supplies.
· Providing reassurance and emotional support to patients in stressful situations.
· Recording relevant patient details and treatment information on medical forms.
· To maintain the confidentiality of all patient information, uphold discipline within the hospital premises, contribute to a clean and hygienic environment, and actively support the implementation of quality initiatives in the department.
