Purpose of the Role:

To provide holistic and quality nursing care to patients across hospital units such as general wards, ICU, emergency, operation theatre, and outpatient departments, adhering to standard clinical protocols and hospital guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Care

• Monitor, record, and report patient vital signs and clinical status.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and injections safely.
• Assist in the assessment, planning, and execution of individualized patient care.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care.
• Support physicians during clinical procedures, rounds, and emergency response.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment in critical areas (ICU, OT, etc.).

Patient Management

• Ensure daily hygiene, nutrition, and comfort of patients.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment, post-discharge care, and hygiene.
• Maintain high standards of infection control and patient safety.

Documentation & Communication

• Maintain nursing notes, treatment charts, and incident records.
• Accurately handover patient status and updates to the next shift nurse.

Ward Coordination

• Ensure availability of nursing and medical supplies.
• Coordinate with pharmacy, diagnostic departments, and housekeeping for patient support.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong clinical and procedural knowledge
• Basic Life Support (BLS) skills
• Empathy, attention to detail, and teamwork
• Familiarity with hospital safety protocols and infection control

Work Schedule:

• Rotational shifts: Morning / Evening / Night
• Includes weekend and holiday coverage

Purpose of the Role:

To provide basic nursing and maternal care services across hospital and community settings, supporting preventive and promotive health care, particularly for women and children.

Key Responsibilities:

Maternal & Child Health

• Assist with deliveries under supervision in maternity units.
• Provide antenatal and postnatal care.
• Monitor newborns and ensure immunization schedules are followed.
• Guide mothers on breastfeeding, hygiene, and baby care.

Basic Nursing Assistance

• Support patients with personal hygiene, feeding, and repositioning.
• Measure and report vital signs.
• Assist in simple wound dressings and infection prevention.

Community Outreach (if applicable)

• Conduct home visits and field follow-ups for maternal and child health.
• Participate in immunization drives, school health programs, and health camps.
• Maintain health registers and community health reports.

Administrative Duties

• Maintain patient records, vaccination logs, and service reports.
• Adhere to biomedical waste disposal and hygiene protocols.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Basic knowledge of maternal, child, and community health
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to work in rural, semi-urban, or hospital settings
• Basic understanding of public health systems
