Staff Engineer - QA Automation

As a Staff Engineer in QA Automation at Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN), you will play a crucial role in creating and leading the quality engineering & automation framework for the SonyLIV platform. Your responsibilities will include designing, scripting, and running test automation platforms, as well as managing the Automation team. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: - Strong knowledge of testing processes and frameworks for Web and Mobile application automation, such as Appium, Selenium, Cucumber (BDD), and Robot Framework. - Proficiency in Java/Python programming skills. - Develop and execute automated API/UI/Unit tests to enable continuous delivery. - Ensure technically sound test case design and execution methodologies. - Design and implement quality processes and quality metrics for applications across platforms. - Expertise in test automation for Web and Mobile applications across platforms like Android, iOS, web browsers, Smart TVs, and Android/Apple TV. - Proficient in CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, BitBucket) for automation and remote execution. - Develop automation dashboards and reports using tools such as Allure or Extent Reports to support quality engineering. - Regular evaluation and adoption of new technologies and methodologies.
