Staff Engineer - IOS Development

You will be responsible for: - Solving complex problems within your functional area - Providing leadership to others in solving complex problems - Managing technical initiatives, while also being an individual contributor - Influencing technical decisions and direction in limited areas - Creating solutions autonomously from high-level objectives - Providing proactive support and training to less experienced engineers - Interpreting internal and external business challenges - Actively participating in Scaled Agile Framework events and adding value - Serving as a role model for knowledge sharing and communication within the team - Networking with colleagues outside your area of expertise - Interacting with senior leadership to influence decisions and direction - Recommending product, technology, process, or service improvements - Recommending best practices - Leading team discussions and assisting other team members The skills required for this role include: - Experience working on iOS apps using Swift - Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies - Unit testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability - Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON - Experience with third-party libraries and APIs - Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle - Understanding how to troubleshoot common and rare development issues - Excellent communication skills The client is a technology services and solutions company that enables mid-size technology product companies to scale and optimize their business effectively.
