Job Description

As a semiconductor company at the forefront of shaping data infrastructure for various sectors, you will be part of Marvell where you can influence trajectories, innovate industries, and explore the endless possibilities of the future through purposeful innovation. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain Linux device drivers for high-performance Fibre Channel adapters supporting FCP and NVMe protocols. - Engage in all development stages including architecture, design, coding, unit testing, benchmarking, and support. - Collaborate with Hardware, Firmware, and internal test teams to address issues during unit and integration testing. - Contribute actively to the Linux upstream community and collaborate with OS distro vendors like RedHat and SUSE. - Ensure solutions meet OEM qualification criteria, provide customer support, coordinate with team members globally, be available for on-site customer work, and occasional business-related travel. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related engineering field. - 6 to 10 years of experience in device driver development on operating systems, particularly Linux. - Strong background in OS internals and the storage stack, especially on Linux. - Knowledge of SCSI, Storage Protocols and Technologies, Fibre Channel Protocol, NVMe, and SPDK is advantageous. - Ability to troubleshoot OS and device driver issues, effective communication skills, adaptability to new requirements, and collaboration within team environments are essential.
