We are looking for motivated individuals who have exposure to object oriented system software development in embedded systems domain.The candidate will be responsible for developing mission critical software components in an embedded environment for Nokia''s Optical pluggable devices.The position requires excellent hold in C++ programming and general understanding of multi threaded operating systems used in embedded devices.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN=> Implement and test Nokias next generation of Optical Engine used for Long Haul, Metro and Data Center Interconnects
=> Understand and analyze software requirements and document the design to develop code
=> Develop and test code that meets the software requirements
=> Understand updates and configurations of RTOS kernel (Ex: Linux) including interrupts, device drivers and memory
=> Review test plans proposed by the test teams
=> Debug and fix issues reported by the test team and customers
=> BS/MS in Computer Science with experience in embedded software development
=> A minimum of 3 years of experience is a must
=> Great C++ programming skills
=> Knowledge of at least one scripting language. Python is preferred.
=> Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills are critical to this position
=> Experience with version control (Ex: GIT) and bug tracking systems (Ex: JIRA)
