Staff Accountant

As an experienced accountant with a minimum of 3 years in accounting firms, you possess a strong understanding of accounting principles. Working independently comes naturally to you, and your proficiency in QuickBooks, both desktop and online, sets you apart. You are a self-starter, proactive in your approach, and value the importance of maintaining confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information. Additionally, you are open to working night shifts to fulfill the job requirements. In this role, your responsibilities will include data entry from bank statements into QuickBooks, accurately coding client transactions, and reconciling clients" bank accounts on a monthly basis. You will conduct monthly audits of the general ledger to ensure accurate coding and reconcile general ledger reports. Preparation of financial statements such as income statements and balance sheets will be part of your routine tasks. Utilizing Microsoft Excel, you will create reports and update the CPA on any outstanding issues with clients" accounts. Your role will also encompass other duties aimed at supporting the efficient functioning of the CPA firm. Your duties will involve preparing management accounts for internal and entrepreneurial entities using accounting software such as Quickbooks, Sage, or equivalent packages. Additionally, you will assist in carrying out audits as and when required.
