Staff Accountant

Role Overview: As a Staff member in the EY Assurance team, you will be responsible for working closely with FAAS Seniors/Assistant Managers on clients and engagements across Americas and EMEIA to provide end-to-end Record to Report services. Your role will require you to ensure timeliness and quality of work as per project requirements for the FAAS team, demonstrating good accounting knowledge under IFRS/US GAAP. You will also need to have prior experience and knowledge of period-end close, financial reporting activities, and bring subject matter expertise around Treasury processes to the advisory services. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books - Support the development of tools and methodologies for project delivery - Participate in meetings and interviews with client treasury personnel - Develop creative solutions to help clients achieve their treasury and business objectives - Ensure adherence and meeting the KPIs and SLA - Receive direction from the Manager and Senior Manager - Maintain effective coordination with multiple stakeholders - Perform Variance Reporting & Analytical Review - Build necessary documents like SOPs and other end-user training materials - Use available guidance on USGAAP/IFRS for providing technical support - Ensure quality in delivering client service by directing daily progress of fieldwork - Follow through on client requests in a timely fashion - Support the development and management of relationships with external and internal clients - Participate in the proposal development process for prospective treasury engagements - Support development of new service offerings and go-to-market strategies - Demonstrate a good understanding of accounting concepts and apply knowledge to complex client situations Qualification Required: - B.com, CA (Inter), CWA (Inter), ACCA (UK), DIP (IFR) or Regular/Part-time MBA from a reputed institute - 1-3 years of relevant experience including experience in Entity/BU reporting, Financial statement close process support, and MIS reporting Additional Company Details: EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) Assurance practice supports global EY client-serving teams with their reviews across various industry sectors.
