Staff Accountant

As an experienced Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating daily accounting records including sales, purchases, and expenses. Your key duties will include handling GST filings, TDS deductions, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. You will also be in charge of managing bank reconciliations, petty cash, vendor/client ledgers, and monitoring project-wise income and expense tracking. Additionally, you will need to coordinate with auditors and submit reports as required. To qualify for this role, you should hold a B.Com or any finance-related degree with at least 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in industries such as construction, solar, or services. Proficiency in Tally ERP, Excel, and GST portal is essential, along with knowledge of basic tax laws, accounting principles, and financial documentation. Desired skills for this position include strong attention to detail and organizational skills, the ability to meet deadlines, and handle confidential data. Excellent communication skills in Tamil and working English are required. You should also be capable of working independently and coordinating effectively with multiple departments.
