Responsibilities Define measurement system and tolerance specification for Body in White components and assembly. Analyze the functional requirements of Body in White. Discuss and align tolerance concepts with stakeholders. Perform tolerance stack-up studies in 1D, 2D, and 3D. Execute tolerance simulations in 3DCS. Ensure quality and timelines of every deliverable in projects. Create Gap & Flush plans and concepts. Engage in discussions with cross-functional teams to incorporate feedback. Create and align sub-module integration concepts. Create and align closure integration concepts. Validate tolerance concepts concerning vehicle-level requirements. Essential Skills Proficiency in stack-up analysis and tolerance stack-ups. Experience with dimensional variation analysis. Working proficiency in NX. Familiarity with assembly operations in the automobile industry. Understanding of various measurement systems and inspection methods.
