Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Studies (SST) teacher to deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned lessons to students of Grades 6 and 7. The ideal candidate will foster a strong understanding of history, geography, civics, and culture, encouraging students to think critically and become responsible global citizens.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver interactive Social Studies lessons aligned with the schools curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and inquiry.
Develop and implement lesson plans that meet learning objectives and accommodate varying student abilities.
Integrate technology and project-based learning methods to enhance the learning experience.
Assess and evaluate students’ academic progress through assignments, tests, projects, and presentations.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in History, Geography, Political Science, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) or equivalent teaching certification is mandatory.
Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in middle school or upper primary classes.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Passion for teaching and ability to inspire young learners.
