Sr.Designer - Telecom

As a Senior Designer/Principal Designer - Instrument (Offshore) at Petrofac, you will play a crucial role in leading design activities with block building and fabrication yard experience. Your responsibilities will include: - Reading and understanding specifications and European regulations, implementing them during project execution. - Utilizing extensive layout and 3D modeling experience to coordinate complete inputs for layout. - Developing the initial bill of material, preparing technical layouts, and drawings for proposal estimation. - Reviewing Technical Document Register (TDR), evaluating the number of required drawings, and establishing design and drafting requirements. - Reviewing Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Plot plans, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, Fire and Gas Detector Layout Drawings, Instrument Specifications, Equipment Specifications, Pipe Specifications, Instrument Index, and Instrument Design Basis, among other relevant documents. Qualifications and Skills required for this role: - 10+ years of Industry experience with a minimum of 2-3 years of offshore industry experience.
