Job Description

As a Senior Designer/Principal Designer - Instrument (Offshore) at Petrofac, you will play a crucial role in leading the design process with block building and fabrication yard experience. Your responsibilities will include: - Reading and understanding specifications and European regulations, and ensuring their implementation during project execution. - Utilizing extensive layout and 3D modeling experience to coordinate inputs for layout. - Developing the initial bill of material, preparing technical layouts and drawings for proposal estimation. - Reviewing Technical Document Register (TDR), evaluating the number of required drawings, and establishing design and drafting requirements. - Reviewing Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Plot plans, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, Fire and Gas Detector Layout Drawings, Instrument Specifications, Equipment Specifications, Pipe Specifications, Instrument Index, and Instrument Design Basis. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A minimum of 10 years of industry experience, with at least 2-3 years in the offshore industry.
