Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Coimbatore for Sr.Checkers (Tekla) position. The individual will be responsible for reviewing and verifying detailed steel structure drawings and designs, ensuring they meet project specifications and quality standards. Daily tasks include cross-checking drawings, marking up discrepancies, coordinating with modelers and detailers, and ensuring adherence to international standards and project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in Structural Steel Detailing and Connection Design using Tekla software
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies and errors
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Knowledge of international standards such as AISC, CISC, BS, IS code, and OSHA
• Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
• Bachelor's degree in civil or Structural Engineering or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
