Description
You will be responsible for editing raw video footage into polished and compelling content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and promotional materials. Collaborating with directors, content creators, and the marketing team will be essential to understand project scope and objectives. Adding music, sound effects, graphics, and animations to enhance storytelling and maintaining engagement will be part of your duties. You will also perform colour grading, sound mixing, and other post-production tasks to ensure professional quality. Organizing and managing video files to ensure accessibility and proper categorization will be important. Staying updated with the latest video editing software, techniques, and trends is necessary to continually improve content quality. Furthermore, you will review and revise videos based on team feedback to ensure final content meets project requirements. Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a portfolio showcasing your work. - Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects. - Knowledge of sound design, colour grading, and motion graphics is a plus. - Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and rhythm. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills. - High attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for producing engaging video content. Preferred Skills: - Experience in creating content for social media, web, and/or broadcast. - Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. - Familiarity with content management systems and file organization best practices.
