Sr Staff/Principal Manager Emulation Engineer

As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in planning, designing, optimizing, verifying, and testing electronic systems. Your responsibilities will extend to various areas including circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems. You will work on cutting-edge products and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet performance requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Strong hands-on experience on Emulation platforms Veloce/Palladium/Zebu - Synthesizing the Verilog RTL, creating models, and compiling them to emulators like Veloce/Palladium/Zebu and/or FPGA platforms - Developing all aspects of hardware emulator implementation with a focus on design partitioning, synthesis, place and route, timing analysis, and runtime performance - Driving debug failures on emulator using the latest technologies, collaborating with designers and SW driver team for test plan and debug - Proficiency in writing scripts using languages like Perl, TCL, bash, Python - Experience with waveform debug tools like Verdi and excellent debug skills - Hands-on experience in SOC level test bench and test plan development - Good understanding of SOC designs and verification aspects - Knowledge of communication/interface protocols such as PCIe5, USB3/4, LPDDR5/4, QUP, eMMC, SD, UFS - Knowledge of processors like RISCV, ARM, NCC - Strong communication skills and ability to work as a team with multiple stakeholders Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience OR - Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience OR - PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience If you are an individual with a disability and require accommodation during the application/hiring process, Qualcomm is committed to providing accessible support.
