Job Description

As an experienced Chipset Power System Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in optimizing power for next-generation Snapdragon automotive chipsets. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting power architecture and tradeoff analysis - Modeling, analyzing, and optimizing chipset and system level power for SOC, chipset, and platform solutions - Identifying power requirements and quantifying power gap/risk areas - Optimizing power efficiency and performance of current designs and contributing to the architecture of future products - Collaborating with multi-functional groups to meet power targets - Designing power features and working with cross-functional teams such as systems, software, hardware, and silicon process - Interacting with customers to showcase chipset capabilities and address specific power requirements - Modeling power for customer-specific use cases and designs Qualifications required for this role: - A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field - Experience in analyzing and designing low power features at SOC, chipset, or platform level - Knowledge of applications processor, modem processor, AR/XR, machine learning, automotive, or computing architectures - Understanding of automotive SOC or chipset systems - Experience in hardware or software design/optimizations for low power features - Proficiency in system-level power modeling and analysis Education requirements: Master's or Doctorate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience - OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience - OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing accessible processes for individuals with disabilities.
