Sr. Software Engineer- UI Angular

As a Full-Stack Developer at OpenText, you will play a crucial role in the AI development team within the ITOMs OpsBridge team. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with diverse teams, working on Angular with machine learning and AI projects. You will have the opportunity to work closely with AI technology and engineering teams to transition models from development to production, ensuring operational efficiency. Your role will involve taking ownership of critical modules of core products, continuously enhancing them to meet customer and architecture expectations. You will review and evaluate designs for long-term adaptability and sustainability, championing processes that lead to high-quality product releases. Additionally, you will be responsible for resolving product technical issues effectively and driving innovation aligned with business objectives. Mentoring junior engineers and new team members will also be a part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, along with 5 to 8 years of experience. Proficiency in software application design tools and languages such as Angular (Java is a plus) is essential, with a strong understanding of UI/UX designing and object-oriented programming. Deep knowledge of Angular 15+, Java Scripts, Data Structures, Algorithms, and Design Patterns is required. Hands-on experience in both Angular UI and Backend Java development, along with Unit Testing, is highly beneficial. Experience in enterprise product requirements like security, high scale, multi-tenancy, high availability, and supportability is crucial. Familiarity with version control systems, preferably git-lab, and expertise with CI/CD tools are necessary. Your problem-solving skills, adaptability to new technologies, and excellent communication abilities will be key to your success in this role. Knowledge of Agile development methodologies such as SAFe is preferred, along with experience in Cloud platforms like AWS.
