Job Summary:
  • We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator with 5 7 years of hands on experience in Basis administration
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing SAP environments, particularly with SAP S/4, Solman, BTP, Azure, and SAP Web applications
  • This role requires a proactive individual who is willing to work in a dynamic support and project environment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of SAP systems
  • Responsibilities:Provide expert support for SAP S/4 applications, addressing critical issues related to memory management and performance
  • Manage P1 and P2 incidents effectively, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations
  • Perform database administration tasks for HANA and Sybase, ensuring data integrity and availability
  • Oversee system upgrades, add on installations, and SSL certificate management
  • Conduct technical activities such as system refreshes, client copies, parameter changes, job management, and RFCs
  • Manage operations within a 24/7 delivery unit, ensuring adherence to SLA and KPI tracking
  • Coordinate with global teams to provide round the clock support and de escalate IT incidents and requests
  • Handle multiple activities requiring cross team coordination to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Contribute to the Managed Service Delivery model, enhancing operational efficiency

Mandatory Skills:

  • 5 7 years of experience in SAP Basis administration
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA Sales & Distribution
  • Proven expertise in supporting S/4 applications and resolving critical performance issues
  • Experience in database administration, specifically with HANA and Sybase
  • Ability to manage P1 and P2 incidents effectively
  • Experience in system upgrades, add on installations, and SSL certificate management
  • Familiarity with technical activities such as system refreshes, client copies, and job management
  • Experience in managing operations in a 24/7 support environment
  • Preferred Skills:Experience in handling the Managed Service Delivery model
  • Understanding of SLA, KPI & Metrics Management
  • Prior working experience in ECS is an added advantage
  • Strong de escalation skills for IT incidents and requests

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications in SAP Basis administration are a plus
