Job Description

We are seeking QA Engineer who will design, develop, and enhance automated testing infra to support analytical delivery testing across multiple sites. You will collaborate with software developers, and data scientists to perform end-to-end automated tests, verify complex analytical requirements, and ensure data quality on advanced data platforms/applications. It requires problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, proficiency in automated testing tools/frameworks and improve processes.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

Delivers complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (design, implementation, testing, delivery and operations), based on definitions from more senior roles.
Advises immediate management on project-level issues
Guides junior engineers
Operates with little day-to-day supervision, making technical decisions based on knowledge of internal conventions and industry best practices
Applies knowledge of technical best practices in making decisions

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualification

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in Python programming.
Familiarity with Java or another object-oriented programming language.
Experience with scripting languages such as Perl or Shell.
Knowledge of Oracle/SQL relational databases or Aerospike key-value database operations.
Comfortable working in Unix/Linux environments.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Agile, flexible, and capable of multitasking while learning new technologies and domains.
Understanding of data quality assurance principles and practices.
Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and applications.
