Sr Software Engineer (Back-end) - Python

As a Software Engineer, your role will involve coordinating with product management and business analysts to understand product requirements and determine the technical design and development plan. You will be responsible for writing scalable code using Python, testing and debugging applications, and integrating user-facing elements using server-side logic. Your responsibilities will also include assessing and prioritizing feature requests, integrating data storage solutions, and optimizing existing databases to improve functionality, performance, and flexibility. Additionally, mentoring junior team members and ensuring they adhere to determined software quality standards will be part of your duties. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate with product management and business analysts to understand product requirements - Write scalable code using Python - Test and debug applications - Integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic - Assess and prioritize feature requests - Integrate data storage solutions - Optimize existing databases to improve functionality, performance, and flexibility - Mentor junior team members and ensure adherence to software quality standards Qualifications Required: - Experience in Python application development - Strong knowledge of Django/Flask - Experience with MongoDB, Git, and Docker - Experience with SQL/Postgres, C++, threading, multi-process architecture, and caching are advantageous - BTech in CS/IT/ECE, MCA, or MSc in CS/IT with at least 4+ years of experience - Proficiency in Core Python, Django, Flask, and MongoDB This position is based in Kochi and is a full-time role. You should be ready to relocate to Kochi and join immediately, as well as be prepared to work from the office.,
