Sr. Software Engineer - Android

Role Overview: Addepar is looking for a Sr. Software Android Engineer to join their Product Engineering team. You will be responsible for building the next generation wealth management software platform for clients of all sizes. As a part of the team, you will collaborate with designers and product owners to design and deliver an exceptional Android experience for the clients. Your role will involve mentoring junior engineers, fostering an inclusive team culture, and developing pragmatic solutions to complex problems. The team primarily works with Kotlin, ReactJS, Java, Python, and AWS, providing you with the opportunity to work on the Android platform. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with designers and product owners to design and deliver the Android experience - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to an inclusive and dynamic engineering culture - Help the team develop practical solutions to sophisticated problems Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a track record of mentoring others - Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, and Android mobile development - Experience with unit testing, code coverage, and thorough knowledge of API structure and practices - Nice to have experience in iOS development - Successful history of building feature-rich user experiences, especially with graphs and charts - Experience in finance/fintech is a plus Additional Company Details: Addepar is a global technology and data company that helps investment professionals provide precise guidance for their clients.
