Sr. SAP S/4HANA Basis Consultant

Role Overview: As a SAP Basis Consultant at our company, your main responsibility will be to manage and maintain multi-landscape environments through client copies, system refreshes, and transport management. You will be required to perform SAP installation and upgrades on SAP BW on HANA, BODS, and NetWeaver ECC / ERP technologies. It will be essential for you to recommend and implement optimal SAP configurations to ensure maximum system performance and availability. Collaboration with other GIS teams may be necessary to provide a unified solution. Additionally, you will need to install and configure all required SAP database servers and application servers, as well as the SAP web dispatcher. Key Responsibilities: - Work with remote teams effectively. - Ensure ECC System Security Settings are in place. - Utilize expertise in SAP technologies including SAP Basis, ECC, DB HANA, SOLMAN, SAP NetWeaver, SAP Fiori, and SAP Web Dispatcher. - Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform. - Proficient in ADS, SolMan CHARM, Fiori, CCLM, Gateway services, web IDE, SAP cloud connector, and workflow monitoring. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical and non-technical information effectively. - Availability to work during American shift times and weekends/off-hours for on-call support/upgrade implementation. - Experience in both ABAP and Java stacks. - Previous exposure to supporting a global business. - Knowledge of BMC Remedy ticketing system is a plus. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience in SAP Basis and related technologies. - Strong understanding of SAP installation, configuration, and tuning strategies. - Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. - Certification in SAP technologies is preferred. - Proven experience in managing SAP systems effectively.
