Careers Sr. QA Automation Engineer Platform 5+ Years Hyderabad Full-Time Job Description We are looking for a Sr. A Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience in developing automated test suites, focusing on API automation, performance testing, and regression testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python and API testing, along with a passion for delivering high-quality, reliable software. You will work closely with developers and product teams to identify issues, define testing strategies, and ensure software quality across the development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: API Automation: Design, implement, and maintain API automation test scripts using tools such as Soap UI, Rest Assured, or Develop and execute test plans for APIs, including load and performance testing, and provide detailed reports and analysis. Test Automation Suite Development: Create highly scalable and reliable automated test suites for new features and regression Automate test cases and enable continuous integration for automated regression runs during releases. Bug Analysis G Troubleshooting: Identify impactful bugs, analyze failures, determine root causes, and collaborate with teams to resolve issues effectively. Set expectations of the solution and behavior based on Collaboration G Reporting: Work with cross-functional teams to clarify user stories, plan sprints, and update test management tools (e.g., JIRA) for issue tracking, analysis, and reporting. Performance Testing: Conduct performance and load testing for APIs, providing detailed metrics and analysis on breakage points and system scalability. Required Skills: API Automation: Hands-on experience in API automation using Python and tools like Soap UI, Rest Assured, or Postman. Test Suite Development: Proven experience in creating and maintaining scalable and reliable test automation suites. Bug Diagnosis G Root Cause Analysis: Strong analytical skills for identifying and troubleshooting failures, determining root causes, and ensuring quality. Problem Solving G Troubleshooting: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills for resolving complex issues. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting. Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills: Linux Development Environments: Experience working in Linux environments for development and automation. Agile Methodologies: Experience in Agile environments, including participating in sprint planning and updating JIRA for issue tracking and reporting. ualifications: Education: BTech or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related field.
