Sr. Purchase Engineer (Material Import / Export)

Role Overview: As a Procurement Manager, your main responsibilities will include: - Generating Purchase orders - Following up and tracking material for on-time delivery - Ensuring the quality of material received and working with vendors on CAPA if required - Negotiating contract terms of agreement and pricing with vendors - Building and maintaining good relations with new and existing vendors - Developing new vendors and components - Maintaining and updating supplier scorecards - Ensuring work is carried out as per defined processes - Updating material status in the ERP system - Motivating the team to work on continuous improvement projects - Coordinating with multiple departments for the execution of orders Key Responsibilities: - Generate Purchase orders - Follow up and track material for on-time delivery - Ensure quality of material received, work with vendors on CAPA if required - Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing with vendors - Build and maintain good relations with new and existing vendors - Develop new vendors and components - Maintain and update supplier scorecards - Ensure work is carried out as per defined process - Update material status in ERP system - Motivate team to work on continuous improvement projects - Coordinate with multiple departments for execution of orders Qualifications Required: - B.E. Mechanical educational qualification - 8-10 years of experience in the Purchase function in a Manufacturing Environment - Good team player - Computer Proficiency - Experience in material Import/Export and custom activities - Experience with ERP systems - Good communication skills - Good negotiation skills - Willingness to travel - High moral and ethical values Additional Company Details: The company offers a full-time job type with a day shift schedule. The work location is in person.
