Develop, execute, and maintain platform and IP validation test plans for pre-silicon and post-silicon phases.
Take complete ownership of enabling and validating various IPs across the platform. Perform system bring-up in multiple configurations for post-silicon validation activities. Execute validation test suites, analyze test results, debug complex system/IP issues, and generate detailed reports. Collaborate closely with teams such as IP/Silicon Design, Signal Integrity, Firmware, BIOS, and QA to ensure seamless validation and issue resolution. Utilize lab equipment including oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, and signal generators for debugging and validation. Validate and work with various IO interfaces such as I2C/I3C, UART, GPIO, and SPI.
B.E/B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering.
10+ years of experience in silicon/platform validation. Very strong expertise in x86 architecture validation and PC system technologies. Hands-on experience validating IO interfaces such as I2C/I3C, UART, GPIO, and SPI. Strong scripting skills in Perl, Ruby, and Python. Extensive experience in debugging methodologies, issue root-cause analysis, and validation techniques. Proficient in using engineering lab equipment oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, signal generators, etc. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
