Sr. PHP Developer

Role Overview: As a PHP CodeIgniter Developer at Whizamet, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining dynamic web applications. Your expertise in PHP, CodeIgniter, and front-end technologies will be pivotal in writing clean and efficient code. Your proactive and detail-oriented approach will contribute to the success of the remote team. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain web applications using the CodeIgniter (PHP) framework. - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly. - Design, develop, and unit test software modules independently. - Implement scalable RESTful Web Services and Reactive Microservices. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with PHP (preferably PHP 8). - Proficiency in CodeIgniter and solid understanding of the MVC architecture. - Front-End Skills: HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, AJAX, JavaScript, and jQuery. - Database Management: Experience with MySQL and understanding of database management systems. - Version Control: Proficiency in using Git for code versioning. - APIs: Hands-on experience with third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, eBay, etc.). - Cloud Familiarity: Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform is a plus. - Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote team setup.
