Sr. Pega Applications Developer

As a Pega Senior Programmer Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic business process management initiatives using Pega technologies within a dynamic team. Your responsibilities will include: Being an individual contributor leading a team of technical resources to develop complex, high volume, and scalable Pega applications. Driving all aspects of the project lifecycle, partnering with IT vendors and business stakeholders to define requirements and develop functional specifications, design, estimate, build, and deploy Pega PRPC applications, and provide project oversight. Leveraging your in-depth knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems, evaluate business and system processes, adhere to industry standards, and make evaluative judgments. Consulting with users/clients and other technology groups to address issues and recommend/install programming solutions, as well as developing solutions to update or enhance existing applications and infrastructure to meet IT commitments to the business. Ensuring adherence to essential procedures, defining operating standards and processes, and serving as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts. Requirements for this role include a minimum Pega PCSSA certification, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, and 8-12 years of hands-on experience working on Business Process Management (BPM) solutions with expertise in Pega Infinity. Additionally, you should be proficient in application design and development using Pega Infinity 8.8.x or higher, SQL with knowledge of designing relational databases in Oracle, and have hands-on experience with Pega Cosmos or Constellation. Experience with Pega Smart Dispute, Pega DX APIs, Agentic AI, cloud technology, or Pega deployment on containers is beneficial, as is familiarity with Agile methodology. Your business skills should include strong communication, problem-solving, collaboration, leadership, and project management abilities. You should be able to work in a team environment, provide project status reports, present solutions to peers and business groups, work effectively under pressure, manage deadlines, and adapt to unexpected changes in expectations or requirements. Additionally, you should act as a mentor and provide technical guidance to new or lower-level analysts.
