Sr. Officer, Events

The event executive position in India requires a Graduate degree holder in a relevant field such as Communication or Business. As an event executive, you will play a key role in supporting the events team by assisting in the implementation of events. Proficiency in technology is essential, and you should be a quick learner. Your responsibilities will include conceptualizing and planning processes for national-level events, managing external vendors, and engaging internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient communication and execution. You will also be responsible for developing and managing event databases, tracking data accurately, and preparing event reports and analysis. Additionally, you will be involved in strategy development, creative concepts, calendar planning, budget management, logistics, vendor coordination, and providing overall support to drive successful outcomes. To excel in this role, you should have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and possess experience with various digital media. A good understanding of Microsoft Office tools, event processes, and documentation is necessary. Creativity, innovation, and comfort with domestic and international travel are also important. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, effective interpersonal skills, and the ability to network are essential. You should be positive, pro-active, eager to learn, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of Photoshop is required, and experience in MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) and travel-related events is appreciated.
