Sr. Odoo Developer

You will be responsible for customizing Odoo modules by designing, developing, and maintaining custom Odoo apps, reports, and integrations. It will be essential to refactor existing modules to meet evolving customer requirements while adhering to Odoo best practices. You will need to participate in client requirement workshops, translate functional specs into technical tasks, and create technical documentation, data-flow diagrams, and deployment notes. Diagnosing performance issues in Python, PostgreSQL, JS, and XML will be crucial. You should be able to provide optimized solutions and maintain version control using Git, following CI/CD pipelines. Quality assurance tasks will include writing unit tests, conducting peer code reviews, supporting UAT sessions, and handling post-deployment warranty support. The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of hands-on Odoo development experience (v16 or later) with a demonstrable customization portfolio. Proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, Odoo MVC, ORM, XML views, QWeb reports, JavaScript (OWL/jQuery), REST/JSON APIs, and version control with Git/GitHub/GitLab is required. Problem-solving skills to debug tracebacks and performance bottlenecks quickly are essential. It is necessary to be based in Vadodara or willing to relocate immediately, as there is no remote work option. Nice-to-have qualifications include exposure to Nginx, knowledge of Odoo.sh or on-prem CI pipelines, experience integrating third-party software with Odoo, and Odoo Certification.
