You will join ATH Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. as an Odoo Developer Customization Specialist based in Vadodara, Gujarat. In this full-time, permanent role, you will be responsible for customizing Odoo modules to meet evolving customer requirements. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining custom Odoo apps, reports, and integrations, as well as refactoring existing modules following Odoo best practices. You will participate in client requirement workshops to translate functional specifications into technical tasks. Additionally, you will draft technical documentation, data-flow diagrams, and deployment notes. As part of your role, you will diagnose performance issues in Python, PostgreSQL, JS, and XML to deliver optimized solutions. You will be expected to maintain version control using Git and follow CI/CD pipelines. Quality assurance will be a key aspect of your role, where you will write unit tests, conduct peer code reviews, support UAT sessions, and provide post-deployment warranty support. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of hands-on Odoo development experience, preferably with Odoo v16 or later, and a demonstrable customization portfolio. You must possess strong skills in Python, PostgreSQL, Odoo MVC, ORM, XML views, QWeb reports, JavaScript (OWL / jQuery), and REST/JSON APIs. Proficiency in version control systems like Git/GitHub/GitLab is required, along with problem-solving skills to quickly debug tracebacks and performance bottlenecks. It is essential to be based in Vadodara or willing to relocate immediately, as there is no remote work option available. Nice-to-have qualifications include exposure to Nginx, knowledge of Odoo.sh or on-prem CI pipelines, experience integrating third-party software with Odoo, and Odoo certification.
