Sr. Node.JS Developer

Role Overview: You will be part of the Backend dream team responsible for architecting and building high-performance, large-scale distributed backend services that power real-time gaming experiences. You will design and develop innovative, user-facing features, take ownership of key platform components, and continuously improve system efficiency, scalability, reliability, and security. Collaboration with Product and Design teams to bring features to life and managing projects end-to-end will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will mentor and inspire the engineering team to grow and contribute to a culture of excellence. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and build high-performance, large-scale distributed backend services for real-time gaming experiences. - Design and develop user-facing features impacting millions of users. - Take full ownership of key platform components, driving technical excellence and creative solutions. - Continuously improve system efficiency, scalability, reliability, and security. - Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to ensure precision and performance in feature implementation. - Manage projects end-to-end, handling priorities, deadlines, and deliverables effectively. - Mentor and inspire the engineering team, contributing to a culture of excellence. Qualifications Required: - 4.5+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js, supported by a strong computer science foundation. - 2+ years of expertise in real-time communication using Socket.io/WebSockets. - Deep knowledge of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and system design principles. - Proficiency in TypeScript, Redis, and RPC protocols, along with a strong understanding of the Node.js ecosystem. - Strong command over SQL and NoSQL databases. - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Understanding of distributed systems, their scale, concurrency, and ensuring robustness. - Bonus points for experience in other programming languages or fast-paced startup environments. - Strong communication skills, collaborative nature, and proactive problem-solving abilities.,
