Sr Node.js Developer

As a Node.js Backend Developer at Maple Code Technologies, a Canadian tech startup with a presence in Chennai and Toronto, you will be responsible for developing robust backend architectures and integrating with cloud services and mobile applications. You will play a key role in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, optimizing database queries, and ensuring the security and scalability of applications. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and maintaining scalable backend services using Node.js and related frameworks, designing RESTful APIs, optimizing database queries, and managing SQL/NoSQL databases. Additionally, you will work with cloud platforms like AWS for hosting and scaling applications, integrate with mobile applications and third-party services, and implement authentication and security best practices. To excel in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience as a backend developer, with a strong proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, and ideally NestJS. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure is preferred, along with knowledge of APIs, WebSockets, and GraphQL. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and authentication mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth will be beneficial.
