Job Description

As a Market Development Specialist at Medtronic, you will be responsible for directing the development of company market requirements for specific products or product lines. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading and coordinating product planning, product launches, product management, market development, and market research activities. - Interacting directly with product managers to identify new marketing opportunities. - Recommending action, scheduling and planning projects, estimating costs, and managing projects to completion either individually or with a team. - Identifying unmet customer requirements and new business opportunities to move products from idea to the marketplace. - Facilitating and coordinating marketing activities with geographic areas to increase teamwork and build partnerships. - Coordinating trade show activities, website development, developing future e-commerce strategies, and tracking marketing campaigns to evaluate results and provide recommendations for future marketing promotions. You will be an individual contributor with responsibilities in a professional discipline or specialty, delivering and managing projects assigned while working with stakeholders to achieve desired results. You may act as a mentor to colleagues or direct the work of other lower-level professionals. Your autonomy as a seasoned individual contributor will allow you to work independently under limited supervision, determining and developing approaches to solutions. Your qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree along with an MBA and a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in the healthcare field. You are expected to have advanced knowledge of the job area combining breadth and depth, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
