Sr. Manager - 2W Body Panel Design

Role Overview: As a Sr. Manager - 2W Body Panel Design, you will be responsible for leading the design of sleek and high-performance body panels for next-gen two-wheelers. Your primary mission will involve owning the design process from B-surface development to ensuring manufacturability. You will lead a team of designers, collaborate with suppliers, and solve complex design puzzles to bring innovative designs to life. Key Responsibilities: - Own the design of 2W body panels, ensuring a balance between aesthetics and manufacturability - Solve complex design challenges related to tooling direction, part splitting, and mounting strategy - Lead a team of designers to collaborate effectively with suppliers and bring designs to fruition - Act as the primary problem solver, whether on the assembly line or at supplier sites, to ensure smooth execution of designs Qualifications Required: - 12-16 years of hands-on experience in plastic body panel design within the 2W industry - Proficiency in UG NX for solid and surface modeling, along with a strong understanding of GD&T - Demonstrated skills in tooling, manufacturing methods, and PLM workflows - Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire teams and meet deadlines consistently - Willingness to adapt and tackle challenges head-on, including flexibility in working hours and travel Note: The company offers a dynamic and fast-paced work environment where you can shape the future of two-wheeler design, lead innovation, and grow with a team that values bold ideas and excellence in execution.,
