Sr. JAVA Developer - Digital Engineering Lead Engineer

NTT DATA is looking for a Sr. JAVA Developer - Digital Engineering Lead Engineer to join their team in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. As a part of this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and systems. You will be writing clean and efficient code using Java & Spring boot, collaborating with QA Analysts and Software Developers, and working along with a larger scrum team to deliver assigned stories within scheduled time while maintaining coding standards, Quality, and code efficiency. It is also expected that you document the framework for change implementation and integration requirements. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent working experience in Core Java, microservices, Rest APIs, Maven/Gradle, Spring boot, JPA/Hibernate, Kafka/JMS, and a good working knowledge of Angular. Additionally, experience with lifecycle management tools like JIRA, GitHub/ Bitbucket, Eclipse/ IntelliJ IDE, and at least one Cloud platform such as AWS or Azure is required. You should also have experience in leveraging Continuous Deployment / Continuous Integration (CI / CD) pipeline for different platforms, a good understanding of OpenShift or PCF, and solving technical issues with thorough research and investigation. Previous work experience in Scrum and Agile projects is also essential. It is important to note that the candidate should have a minimum of 7 years of overall experience in developing JAVA and microservices applications, excellent communication skills - written and oral, experience in multiple development projects, with a majority of work experience in the Banking domain. A BE/B. Tech graduate or equivalent with English as a compulsory subject is preferred. The schedule availability required for this position is Monday-Friday (10:00 am to 8:00 pm IST) with a mandate of twice a week WFO. Shift timings may be subject to change as per client requirements, and resources may need to do overtime and work on weekends based on business requirements.
