Sr. Interior Designer

The ideal candidate for this role should possess excellent creative thinking skills and have the ability to generate designs based on client conversations. You should be confident in engaging regularly with clients to understand their needs and be adaptable in modifying your approach based on feedback. It is important to stay updated with the latest trends in the interior design industry to offer innovative ideas to clients. Working closely with the Design Lead, Marketing team, Installation partners, and suppliers is crucial to provide NVT customers with an exceptional interior design experience. Your responsibilities will include creating appealing designs and layouts for various projects, meeting with clients to comprehend their objectives and developing customized designs to fulfill their requirements. Effective communication with clients, vendors, and team members is essential to address client needs promptly. You should be capable of handling escalations professionally and preparing presentations (3D, 2D, mock-ups, and renderings) for clients. Generating quotes for clients and ensuring a smooth workflow is followed are also part of the role. Staying updated with industry knowledge is necessary to remain relevant in the field. Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture, along with 5-8 years of experience in a related field. Proficiency in AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office suite is required, as well as strong creative, interpersonal, and communication skills. A solid understanding of design principles and the ability to execute them is necessary. Excellent knowledge of SketchUp and 2D/3D modeling, as well as experience in designing residential projects, are preferred qualifications. Candidates residing in or around the Whitefield area are preferred for this position. This is a full-time job that offers health insurance as a benefit.
